Ota-Ya Sushi restaurant deserves a glowing five-star review! We celebrated our daughter's birthday with 25 family members in their private party room. The BYOB option made the celebration even more enjoyable, as we could bring our favorite drinks. Before the party, my husband and I had a fantastic dinner there, trying out menu items for the event. Preordering was a breeze, and everything went smoothly on the big day. The staff's organization and delicious dishes made the celebration stress-free and unforgettable. We highly recommend Ota-Ya for top-notch Japanese cuisine and memorable gatherings!
Seaweed salad is amazing, and I’ve tried eel roll, which was good as well! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
I’m so sorry to have to write this negative review, as we’ve been happy and loyal takeaway customers for many years. Unfortunately, this restaurant is going down the same sad path that Duck Sauce went a few years ago, namely cheapening their raw materials and pushing out substandard meals that barely resemble the originals. The last time we ordered and were disappointed we assumed it was just a midweek lapse; however, last night was a Friday with the same unfortunate result. The place was nowhere near as busy as it was, so we cannot be the only ones to notice. I hope the owners read this and understand that we can forgive prices going up, but we can’t forgive poor quality.
