If you 're looking for a fast food experience that will leave you hangry and speaking gibberish in frustration, then this McDonald 's is your golden ticket (though hopefully not literally, because who knows what color their fryer oil is).The service was slower than ketchup trying to escape a leaky bag. Despite my best efforts at channeling my inner mime (desperation can be a powerful motivator), it took multiple attempts to communicate my simple order to the server. Their grasp of the English language seemed to be on par with a newborn nugget – all confused squawks and zero comprehension.Finally convinced they understood my request, I was banished to a curbside parking spot, promised my food within 15 minutes. Imagine my surprise when 15 minutes turned into 20, then 25, all while watching other cars breeze through the drive-thru.By the time I got my food, I could have delivered a Shakespearean sonnet about the experience. And guess what? It was wrong! Absolutely, undeniably wrong.So, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this McDonald 's. Unless you enjoy cold fries, lukewarm service, and a good game of Mystery Meat Madness, there are far better options out there.
Mcdonalds in Newton Grove is on the way home for me my family, when we go to church in Dunn, and we live in Goldsboro. Over the past several years, this particular store has went from bad to worse. Some examples. Tonight, I placed a mobile order to eat at the restaurant. I stood all alone at the register, hoping to get our drink cups in advance of our order. Apparently I was invisible as multiple people ignored me for 10 minutes. Our last visit, we were the only patrons inside. It took 25 minutes for our food.The food is usually cold or a portion there of. Cleanliness is not something they promote regularly. Someone should take a picture of one of those drink lid dispensers and/swab and look under a microscope. Those things are extremely filthy. Do they ever get taken apart and cleaned? A few years ago, an employee and his family member always occupied the corner booth for his whole shift. He would go sweep the bathrooms, then he would sweep the tables and seats. Yikes! So we have bad customer service, not friendly, poor quality food, slow service, and filthy conditions. To end on a good note, there is a humongous amount of room for improvement. I told my wife that we need to carry the kids to the store in Dunn. Surely it can't be any worse. If you plan on spending time and money at this Mcdonalds, you may want to bring some cleaning supplies, a bull horn, and a microwave. These items may help to improve your experience. The inside makeover, was really worth it! The atmosphere is so much nicer than before.. They even have an area to charge your phone or laptop. Service was really good, food was fresh and hot. Great improvements!
The staff that work here are incredibly unfriendly. The short girl with the fake long eyelashes could seem to careless about customer service. I would recommend finding another McDonald's instead of this
