The Cherry Tree - Newton

I have passed by this restaurant countless times and have heard about it for years. Finally decided to give it a try for dinner tonight and had a burger and steak and cheese sub. The bar food was great and the sandwiches were delicious. The prices were very fair, maybe even considered low in today's market. I definitely plan on returning soon. Our waitress was superb. It was surprising to see the place almost empty on a weekend night. Maybe it's not fancy enough for some, but I go for the food and it was definitely worth another visit!

I thought I had tried all the non-alcoholic beers, but I was wrong. Budweiser 0.0 was a new discovery for me. I visited the bar on a Sunday and was the only customer there. It was probably because there was no game on at the time.

Get the chicken tenders with cherry tree sauce. 10/10. Best bartenders and servers around.

I discovered this restaurant about 6-9 months ago and absolutely loved it! I ordered wings while my daughter got a burger as we watched a sports game. The food was great, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the prices were reasonable. We liked it so much that we came back the next night for another amazing experience. As big sports fans, we were thrilled to have found our new favorite spot to enjoy dinner and watch a game. We continued to visit every few weeks and always had a great time. However, a few months later when we came in to watch a playoff game, we noticed that the menu had completely changed. Many of our favorite items were no longer available, and the prices had increased significantly. I asked the waitress about the changes, and she mentioned it was the first day with the new menu. While I understand prices may have gone up, the drastic changes to the menu were disappointing. Unfortunately, we haven't been back since. We hope they bring back their old menu soon, especially with football season approaching.

After receiving poor service and eating subpar food, I stormed out of the restaurant in frustration. This was my first visit in five years, despite living in the neighborhood.
