Sichuan Gourmet House - Newton

I stopped by this restaurant on a weekday looking for a pick-me-up. We were craving some delicious Sichuan peppers to elevate our moods, and this place hit the spot. We enjoyed flavorful and spicy roast rice, dan noodles, and amazing pigeon dumplings. The staff was incredibly friendly and quick, and they even gave us complimentary jasmine tea to enjoy with our meal!

This restaurant serves authentic Sichuan-style Chinese cuisine, known for its spicy and salty flavors. Guests are advised to choose their dishes carefully in order to fully enjoy the experience. The food is prepared fresh and the staff is friendly and honest. Delivery services are available in areas outside of Newton through group purchases.

I have always had issues with this restaurant. The servers never seem to listen to my order correctly and always forget something. I do not recommend it.

Food and service were both great! would return here! everything was really fresh! from the peking duck to the seafood soup to the Mala fish to the salt and pfeffer pork. the restaurant itself is not very large, but they make a good job that takes up big parties. there are parking spaces in front of location that is good. they also have a satisfactory choice of likör, wein, beer and beer.

Had a fraud transaction of $22 by this place posted recently on my old credit card (has never been lost). It’d been impossible to notice the fraud if I haven’t moved out of state and I was a regular. I assume someone at this restaurant saves your credit card info and steals. Bring cash if you still wanna go.
