Farm Stand - Newton

Stopped here after a few trips to find corn stalks for my harvest decor, and they were here at $7 compared to others who wanted $12 and more. Young woman was helpful and quite busy. Have passed this stand about 100 times and only bought summer produce but will definitely visit again next year during harvest.

What a pleasant surprise to find this stand after making a wrong turn near Kohl’s. We got zucchini, yellow squash, Vidalia onions, huge peaches and plums. All great! Prices very reasonable.

We stayed here for a nearby wedding. The hotel was accommodating 3 separate weddings/groups. Very busy, but everything went smoothly thanks to a very accommodating manager on duty I’m sorry I didn’t get her name). She took care of guests’ needs and requests in a very timely manner, even calling local stores for them just hours before the wedding. Every room was booked but housekeeping staff was on top of everything . My husband and I were able to check in early and our room was clean, well stocked, and pleasant. We were on the third top) floor so it was pretty quiet despite all the guests and activity. There’s a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in every room. Breakfast was very good. Anything you’d need to get going in the morning. My husband especially liked the pancake machine! Coffee was good and plentiful. The woman managing the breakfast area was very accommodating, dealing with large groups, and keeping everything stocked. There’s an Applebees a few steps from the hotel that stays open pretty late so you really have everything you’d need by staying here. Kudos to this Holiday Inn which is very well run!

Rotten produce coupled with rotten service at exorbitant prices.

As in past years that I have stayed here, The front desk, housekeeping, breakfast room and maintenance staff are the best! Special shout out to Cathy at the front desk, who always goes the extra mile to make sure we have our reservations intact with room preferences. Having not been since 2019 due to Covid, the hotel has had renovations throughout. Beautiful and clean- definitely at the very top of a holiday inn express!
