Neptune's Larder Cafe

This restaurant is a hidden treasure in the harbour. The food is delicious and the service is always friendly. There are too many great dishes to pick just one favorite.

While out for a day of coastal fishing, I stumbled upon this restaurant as I entered the harbor area. I decided to have breakfast there and was pleased to find that you order at the counter and then take a seat while your food is brought to you. I ordered a large fry and a latte, both of which were delicious and reasonably priced. The service was excellent and I enjoyed my meal with a lovely view of the harbor. After fishing for a couple of hours, the rain started so I returned to the Neptune for some more food. I indulged in a delicious piece of cake and another latte, once again at a great price. Despite the restaurant being busy with local fishermen and others, the staff was very friendly and the service was quick.

Best fishing and chips on the island of Iceland, bar no!

Excellent food brilliant service. A must stop for breakfast, lunch or coffee a treat.
