The Cheer Factory - Newport

The service and food at The Cheer Factory are consistently excellent! I truly believe they've perfected the curry experience on the Northern Beaches. My new favorite dish is the Kerala Curry—it's absolutely amazing! Don’t forget to try the new Mumbai beer as well! With great food and such friendly service, I can’t wait to come back soon!

For appetizers, my personal favorite is the Raja Prawns, which I would rate 4.5/5 when they're crispy and served hot. The Chicken Tikka is quite good at 3.5/5. The naan bread is of decent quality, offering a nice chewy texture, also scoring 3.5/5. The Butter Chicken, on the other hand, is average at 2.5/5; I prefer thicker, richer spices over sweet flavors. The Roganjosh is decent at 3/5, while the Malai Kofta stands out as really nice at 3.5/5. The restaurant features a fresh, modern, and minimalistic design with Indian influences. It's definitely worth a visit!

We had a great experience at this restaurant! We spent about $40 for two people, which I thought was reasonable. The fish in the entree was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. We'll definitely be coming back!

Hands down, the best Indian restaurant on the northern beaches. Awesome staff, happy to help. These guys phoned me back the following day and checked my meal came in a timely manner and was satisfying. The sauces are great

Hidden Newport Gem. Tucked away in the little 'restaurant/cafe square ' of Newport, my partner and I have thoroughly enjoyed a few meals here now. The food has a northern Indian focus a good blend of traditional and modern twists. Highly recommend the stuffed breads, saag and even the butter chicken (apparently made more in the traditional style of more onion based), was amazing. Have to say, the beer on tap and wine list was pretty good too. Staff lovely with fast friendly service and refreshingly passionate about the food. All adds up to be one of the best Indian restaurants on the peninsula.
