Although the menu was different, what was advertised on the website, it was absolutely delicious. we had the vegan afternoon tea and would definitely go back. a really nice day.

Most cakes/berries were soggy or dry. sandwiches limited. very expensive and disappointing. would not recommend. no decorations on the wall at all.

I was quite surprised by the selection at the price we paid. the desserts seemed to be out of the freezer, and the scones were not freshly baked.

A table online for 830PM 22/10/2022. if we try not to book when we get the reception conditions. I didn't do it with that. absolutely poor service, so staff rude. not on all. absolutel

So sad. We had an incredible wedding reception here and wanted to pop back for a walk down memory lane. We were the only ones dining in a cold, quiet, dark and lonely dining area. Other customers apparently cancelled. Afternoon tea was very under whelming with dry scones, and medium quality sandwiches. Certainly not worth the £50 for effectively a sandwich and a few small cakes. The location itself is stunning so we had an enjoyable walk around the gardens. We had to find someone when we arrived, to say that we were here for afternoon tea and also had to find them at the end to pay. Just quite disappointing really. Summary is that this place is great for events (weddings and conferences… when the full service team are in, but they shouldn't pretend to deliver a premium afternoon tea to individuals as a side gig.
