The Melting Pot - Newport News

My son was visiting from out of state, and had never been to The Melting Pot. He loved it! We had a great time and enjoyed wonderful food and service. This location is always our first choice. We have never had a bad experience and will continue dining here for special occasions as well as times we simply want a great dining experience.

We had great time and our server was very attentive.

We were a group of 2 couples just our for a funny evening. our waitress, brook, was fantastic far to friendliness, knowledge of the menu, our food preferences and there when we needed. I would like to see a few more low carb dipper options for the 2 in our group on keto diet. but they used to have a dark brown pumpernickel bread as a dipper for the cheese and I missed it as an option, as I am so well paired with the cheese. we have made a burner with coq au vin broth a grill on the other, which was a nice option to have both. we had the flaming turtle chocolate as well as the toffee crunch and added erdnus butter to what was amazing and now our preferred dessert will be there. we always love our melting pot experiences when we feel like splurging on ourselves. yum!

It was our 25-year anniversary and the selection of the melting pot was the prefect choice to dinner. our waiter was very enthusiastic and funny while he was also informative about everything he did. the food was excellent and very fresh. in any case recommend for every occasion.

Had a great time! It's a LOT of food to eat, so bring your appetite!
