My first visit was satisfactory, but unfortunately, it will be my last. Since their expansion, the quality of the food has declined significantly. The rice had a texture more akin to mashed potatoes, and the burrito was poorly constructed, spilling out mushy rice and containing very little meat. The birria soup was disappointing as well; it tasted more like a standard goat meat soup, and there were more bones than actual meat. Additionally, the tacos were lacking in flavor.
I experienced slow service due to an unexpected number of customers. The food portions were about 60% of what you would typically expect at a Mexican restaurant. There were no chips and salsa on the table, and the waitress didn’t offer any refills. While the food was decent, I left feeling hungry. She did bring out a green hot sauce and a spicy dark red hot sauce with my burrito. The server was bilingual.
The experience wasn't the worst I've had, but it certainly didn't stand out as the best either. The service left something to be desired, and the drink selection was limited, primarily offering canned sodas. However, I found the salsa to be excellent, and I really enjoyed the guacamole. I tried the pupusas, which were decent, though not quite what I was expecting. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the sauce and vegetable salad that came with them. My husband ordered quesadillas and found his to be greasy and lacking in flavor. On a positive note, there was a cute little kid working there who was sweet and seemed to be the most attentive worker in the establishment. Overall, while it wasn’t the worst experience, I don't think I would return.
I recently passed through and decided to try this Mexican restaurant, and I was not disappointed! The menu was great, featuring both Spanish and English, and the friendly staff communicated with each other in Spanish, which added to the authentic vibe. The guacamole was the best I've ever tasted—everything was simply delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the place was clean and tidy. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine!
My partner and I relocated to this area from Texas four years ago, and this is the first truly *good* Mexican meal we've experienced! We will definitely be returning. This morning, I had a strong craving for breakfast tacos—something that's hard to find around here. I ordered the huevos chorizo lunch plate with flour tortillas, and it was absolutely delicious. The dish came with beans, rice, and queso fresco on the side. My partner tried the steak fajita nachos and loved them as well. This is not the kind of place that serves mayonnaise on the table, but you will definitely enjoy some fantastic salsa! I’d give it a perfect 10/10!
