Two simple appetizers to go. was said 10 minutes, it would be in the order at 11:09 ten minutes later like when I was told. to say that they are early. it must not take a few minutes. we will wait 30 minutes later after waiting my two appetizers are ready now. here is a constructive critique welcome customers kindly not rude. in addition, they give a more acute timeline instead of their customers waiting.
My family goes into this restaurant since it opened in the 80s. it was our “Go to” location for large family meals, special events and recently takeout due to covid. I had a doctor's appointment today and thought I'd pick up dinner. I ordered $90 worth to eat and made a tip even for the take. I received a text that my eating was ready, went in to get it, and was said that it was not ready yet. That's okay, I don't care to wait. I asked for a glass of water in a to-go cup while waiting. I was told it would cost $1. I was down. it was a hot day, I didn't want much. especially after how much I had spent and that I had to wait after I was told that it was ready. I'm so disappointed with the new owners. I understand that the things are close for business now, but that has shocked me. I will not be a patron after that.
This is one of my favorite Korean food joints ever. I'm not a local, but anytime I do take a road trip down this way, I make an effort to stop by for lunch or dinner. I normally get their mandu and kimbap as well as their bulgogi, all of which are DELICIOUS. They also have a nice variety of tasty banchans (side dishes). Overall a really great spot. I'd highly recommend it to anyone, especially those who love homey korean food.
I have only one regret... that I didn't find this place sooner. Def recommend. Im literally watching my husband scoop up every last drop of his dish right now. I'll come back to try the other dishes. We shared ddukbokki as an appetizer (some people might find this spicy) and we each got our own entrees: yukgaejang and the seafood soondubu. (Sorry we demolished the ddukbokki before I realized I should've taken a photo
