This place was recommended to us by a friend who said if I should go Clam Chowder I should go if I ever in Newport. I don't like a Clam-Chowder, I love IT!... even the cheap stuff from a can.... I know???????? This place was amazing. Great service, great location, great Clam Chowder!.... wish that the bowl was 10 times bigger, although... The swordfish tacos were great. Wedge salad also very good. Overall great place to meet. And a BONUS... the owner is a huge sports fan and has a waiting room full of super old and cool baseball memorabilia! Two of us ate and drank for 115 dollars plus a big tip because our waitress was really good. $40 a plate. We'll be back in Newport. We used online reservations and have allocated ourselves at our time. Not too busy for a Thursday night.

This restaurant is very nice. We had a table outside and the view was astonishing. The food is prepared quickly and tastes very good. The Benedict eggs were slightly spicy, but still delicious, the clam chowder was good, and the oysters were fantastic. Fish and chips were usual. It?s good to have a reservation, especially on weekends because the spot is quite crowded.

The spot was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon, really busy at the top floor. First come first serve seating too. Pablo Escolar roll was excellent and I highly recommend it along with the Soft shell crab sliders. The downstairs bar and area has the outside patio area with the view of the boats. Next time we?ll dine downstairs. Also FYI, There is no self parking, it?s just $6 valet.

Great restaurant for all occasions. Food and drinks were perfect! Service was great. Will definitely be back!

Amazing food! Fresh, delicious, not oily. Also great wine selection. Cioppino is the best, in my opinion, with the right ratio of all ingredients and the level of tomato flavor. All right! Not sure what the subject was, but saw a brick from John Wayne's old house. Baseball West, maybe?
