Sugar 'n Spice - Newport Beach

I had forgotten just how delicious a Balboa bar is! We each tried something different, and I really enjoyed mine: vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate and topped with half an Oreo. I came back today, and it was just as amazing as I remembered. It's a good thing I don’t live nearby; otherwise, I’d be here all the time!

Frozen bananas!!! This is the only time I've indulged in something chocolate-dipped without feeling guilty afterward.

I visited this place after a friend's recommendation, and it's a great little gem for a classic treat! I highly suggest trying the heath and pecan combo!

This place is not only the best banana on the island….they take the time to hire the best employees. There is one employee that is off the charts in customer service skills. CADEN, he was handling the line both times I met him. So kind, patient and incredibly sweet and funny. What a gem..

Best spot for treats on Balboa Island. We always make it a point to stop by when we are visiting Newport Beach. Our favorite treat is the ice cream cookie sandwich (absolutely huge and spectacularly delicious).
