Spaghetti Bender - Newport Beach

In the past I was in the Spaghetti Bender and really enjoyed it. They were even accommodated on gluten-free needs and had pasta that I could eat. It was a great meal, but the service was slow. About a week ago my friend and I went at 8:15, the restaurant closed at 9:00 and they said they couldn't sit us because the kitchen was closed. They weren't busy at all, and there were only a few people. We were there before and knew what we wanted and needed a quick meal, but they were not ready to serve us. I understand if it was closer to 9:00, but there were good 45 minutes ahead and we would? ve was done eating our food and from the restaurant then.

Holy Garlic Bread! Came here with family (who are all carb eaters and wasn't expecting much from pasta, but this place had great food and probably the best garlic bread I've ever had (they season BOTH sides of the bread! . I had the Gemelli Pasta with Chicken Sausage as recommended by our waiter, my parents had the Spaghetti with Meat Sauce (it's their favorite and the rest of the family had Fettucine Alfredo and Rigatoni Primo. Everyone loved their food but I really enjoyed the flavor of the sausage and the creamy garlic sauce on mine. It was the perfect combo of veggies and pasta and absolutely delicious. They give you BIG PORTIONS so be prepared to go away filled, or to have enough to take home with you.

Charming restaurant on the coast for great Italian. They've been in business for a very long time and there's good reason for that. The decor is spot on and the food tastes like homemade.

Visiting the city and it is the first place I have eaten, that was absolutely delicious. Would give 6 stars if I could, stuffed over faith. Never had Italian so good!

Classic Italian restaurant in Newport Beach. Great location with good parking. The venue offers various seating options inside or out with an Italian home style feel. The linguine with clams is served with a very ample serving of clams very delicious! The service is attentive and friendly. Great restaurant!
