Pacific Whey Cafe - Newport Beach

The food and atmosphere are excellent. However, the service has changed significantly since 2000. I’ve visited this place multiple times, and if I didn’t live right next door, I probably would have stopped coming long ago.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for families looking to enjoy breakfast and brunch in the harbor area. They offer a wide selection of baked goods and hearty egg dishes that are both delicious and satisfying. The food quality is excellent, and the atmosphere is inviting. You can also grab a coffee from Starbucks, conveniently located in the pavilion.

A very nice location. You can really improve the quality of food, presentation and make it more interesting! I hope that makes sense.

I ordered a tuna sandwich, and it was good, but unfortunately, there were no mustard or pickles available. That really diminished the flavor for me, as I was hoping for a bit of a kick and some acidity to enhance the sandwich. On the bright side, the fries were perfect!

The coffee can be better. They have very good selections of pastries and cookies. The breakfast dishes are great. California omelette is very delicious. Sandwiches are good but not a large selection to choose from. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The location is excellent. I recommend this place. Just wish they had better coffee.
