The receptionists lack clear communication and fail to provide essential information to guests. When making a booking, there's no mention of parking fees, which is misleading. As a business, they should clearly communicate all costs to ensure guests have a complete understanding of their expenses, leading to a better overall experience.
We had a delightful stay at this beautifully renovated hotel. The staff was exceptionally well-trained, surpassing the typical standards of most US hotels. We appreciated the updated room, and if you book through the Marriott website, you can snag a package that includes breakfast and free parking for just a bit more than the room rate alone. The breakfast buffet was compact but featured delicious options, and the made-to-order omelet was especially enjoyable. The coffee was also quite nice. Additionally, the bed was very comfortable.
This morning, I noticed a hold of $371.44 on my credit card. I called the hotel again and encountered a rude agent who started to argue with me. Eventually, she told me that the hold was related to check-in, which didn't make sense since the charge appeared today (check-in was the previous day). The amount she mentioned didn't match the hold on my card, but she assured me it would be released. I'll keep an eye on my credit card and dispute the charge if it doesn't come off soon. Overall, the staff needs to improve their customer service skills and undergo better training.
Hi I’m staying here for work and have been here 5 different times now. The staff at the front desk and valets are wonderful. The outside areas like the patio and pool are generally filthy with overflowing trash cans, empty beer bottles and grime. The gym has nice equipment and space but is also grimy and dirty. It’s a shame because it could be a nice place. Too bad they don’t hire enough people to maintain the property. The guest rooms are clean. The flooring is vinyl plank and is coming up in most of the rooms I’ve stayed in. If you’re not on the 10th floor you will hear every move of the people above you.
Hotel was OK. $40 for parking is just crazy. They say it’s in line with parking in the area but the holiday inn across the street is $15. Not to mention Disneyland is only $30 and Angels game was $20. Even so you don’t feel welcomed when you’re being charged that much. Also only offer 1 handicap spot on the second floor. All the first floor handicap spots are taken up by valet.Safe in room was broken. A/C was not as loud as other reviews made it out to be. At check at they asked how my stay was. I said only OK and they were satisfied with that as there were no follow up questions. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.
