Blue Bicycle Tea Rooms - Newport

Gorgeous cafe with delicious food particularly recommend the tea scones, served on fine bone china. They adhered so well to the social distancing guidelines, with partitions between tables and everything (table and chairs etc) wiped down after each sitting. Really enjoyable experience. They even have a lovely outdoor terrace for eating outside.

We had been driving and not really seen anywhere tempting to stop for a snack /late lunch until Newport. We had a wander up and down the main street and decided here looked the most tempting. Not disappointed, 2 seeded ciabattis with very ample fillings. Great place, wish we could have enjoyed the garden, raining again!

We stopped here after a good day driving in the area. We had tea and scones. It’s a great spot with interesting decor. Staff are friendly. There’s room out the back and seats outside the front door too. Newport is a delightful little village and this is a good place to stop by.

Stopped in Newport for a quick cup of coffee. Saw the blue bicycle outside the front door and decided to head in. We had delicious homemade cakes and coffee! Well worth the stop!!!

Had tea, coffee and two slices of cake here last week and while the service and quality was very good the cost of €17+ left a sour taste!!. New York prices in Newport, Mayo. By the way we are not afraid to spend money on food as we enjoyed an excellent dinner later that evening in An Port Mor in Westport .
