Ultralife Cafe South Beach - Newport

During a brief stop on Highway 101, I discovered that this restaurant doesn't offer any vegan options. It's worth the drive to the Nye Beach location, which is situated just below the beach.

Cute little cafe with a great atmosphere. The Vegan Bacon Bagel is a must for sure. 5/5 imo.

Vegan friendly! My 'vegan bacon bagel ' was glorious. I was nervous about visiting the coast and settling for fries and salad the whole time, but this place and a few others gave me some options with a little more oomph to them, plus it tasted delicious and the staff were friendly!

We went for breakfast and we happy to find vegan and vegetarian options. The plant based bagel was great, and a huge portion with beautiful fresh fruit on the side. This was a relief after travelling for many days eating a lot of food lacking in freshness. They also had oat milk for coffee. Nice vibe and decor inside as well.

Found this place by accident when my daughter and I stayed on the Oregon Coast for my 50th birthday in January. We were blown away by the amazing Vegan Bagel they had with vegan pesto cream cheese, tons of fresh veggies(lettuce, tomatoes, onions) and we added some baked tempeh to it! BEST birthday breakfast ever. They have wonderful coffee and drink options too that can be made Vegan. The owners are super nice as well as the staff and are very knowledgeable about specific dietary needs for Vegans and others
