Rogue Brewer's On The Bay - Newport

This place is in a great location near the bridge in Newport. There is a Marina you can look at while dining, lots of sailboats. The restaurant portion was where we ate, we did not go to the bar. The restaurant was freezing! Every person dining kept their coats on. We had hamburgers that were adequate but you can get tater tots instead of fried which I loved. This is the Rogue brewery as well as restaurant and bar and you can see of lot the brewery action going on.

The ony food choices were hamburgers and fish fries. Some of us ordered the burgers, no one liked the black rolls. Some of us ordered the fish fries, mine was very greasy and it was really fishy. It was disgusting.

I ordered the fish and chips, still a good menu item but very small portion of coleslaw(about an oz). My husband ordered the special “Totchos” for $15, Do not order this item, it's gross! A plate full of tater tots, with very little of the other items it should come with(black beans, scallions, choice of meat). Not worth $15! Service was good, but when we told the waitress how disappointing the dish was, she turned rude tossed the to go box on the table and wouldn't look us in the eye. I gues … – show

Looks better than it is. Food is all spicy even the steak… good but not worth the . Make sure you ask for them not to make it spicy unless you like it spicy
