The interior reminds me of the cozy atmosphere of Irish pubs I have been to, with warm wood accents, comfortable seating, brass fixtures, and more. The menu features comfort food classics as well as some new favorites. I highly recommend trying the shepherd's pie, the meatloaf, the steak pie, the fish gratin, and the Scotch eggs. Be prepared to look for street parking if you don't opt for one of the nearby public lots.
There is nothing negative to say about this place. The atmosphere, service, food, and decor were all delightful and entertaining. The service was outstanding and welcoming. If you enjoy delicious Irish cuisine and find yourself in Newport, this restaurant is a must-visit.
We had a great time at this restaurant. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, they served Guinness on tap, and there was Irish music playing in the background.
The experience was average. While I enjoyed my main course, the others in my group (total of 4) were not impressed with their dishes. The service was also lackluster. Overall, we will not be returning to this restaurant.
This is a great spot to hang out with friends. The average cost per person is between $10 and $20. The food is rated a 3 out of 5, the service a 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5. I recommend trying the Bangers and Mash.
