Bread is also really good but it's $2 for additional baskets (which we got because it was good- lol! Our server Hassan was great and we didn't have to wait for a table. Totally recommend stopping by if you're in the Newport area- it's right on Thames Street!
Wonderful pasta! Amazing service! We had a party of 5, they sat us as soon as we arrived for our reservation, great wine iced tea. I highly recommend going when you're in town
Food is good, our server was very polite and friendly. They only serve beer and wine.
Ate dinner here as a solo traveler and thought the food was great. Ravioli with bolognese was fresh and fantastic. Bruschetta ai Prataioli al Tartufo was great too. You can tell they really do make everything fresh and both items were wonderful. However, I experienced a few things that put a damper on my meal. For one, I was offered only sparkling or still water by my server when I sat down. I chose still, assuming this was their free/tap option. I was given a large bottle to pour myself. Later on, I heard my server offer the table next to me sparkling, still, OR tap. When I got my check I realized I was charged $7.50 for still water, or what they classify as mineral water on the menu. I felt intentionally misled and deceived. I was also only given a half portion of bread and butter. Yes, I was dining alone but I should have been given a full portion. I found the service overall to be cold and unwelcoming. The restaurant has a cozy, crowded, old school vibe, which I liked. In all, the meal itself was great but everything was disappointing.
Very nice and cozy Italian reminiscent of what you'd find in the North End in Boston serving Northern Italian fare. Me and my family loved everything we ordered including the Garden Salad and the Creamy Mushroom soup. For desert we had the blueberry crumble cheesecake which we recommend!
