Hewitt's - Newport

When they arrive in the hotel, they must go through the restaurant to book themselves and they are welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. the rooms are wonderful. in the writing you will find a welcome tablet with drinks, water cookers and a cup. the beds are sooo soft, never so good sleep in a hotel bed. the bathroom has a massive window that allows fresh air into the room and a large bath! in the morning we had no food because I woke up late

I was taken here for my birthday dinner. My son was always recommending it. I was definitely not disappointed. The food looked and tasted delicious. The service was great. The restaurant was clean and friendly. We will definitely be going back when next on the island. We highly recommend going.

Absolutely superb meal on our wedding anniversary! Staff were attentive, smart and knew the menu. Food was unpretentious and beautifully cooked. Warm plates, generous portions and lovely cocktails. Highly recommended.

Room review only: Stayed over Christmas while visiting family in Newport. Lovely, huge rooms and bed, and super central. Very affordable for what you get, included breakfast which you often wouldn't get for the price. Helpful and friendly staff who were very accomodating with an earlier check-in. Can't comment on the restaurant as it was closed over the 3 days we stayed there.

Our daughter,son in law and family gave us a voucher for 3 course meal and bottle of wine. We'll it's one of the best meals we have had, couldn't find a fault if we tried. We also had the pleasure of meeting a lovely gentleman called Harry who was 100 years old, and his lovely friend June. We had a most enjoyable evening. Thankyou for great service.
