An employee of mine met with a customer at this Starbucks to for a quick business meeting. My employee purchased beverages for he and his customer to enjoy during their brief meeting. A manager came up to my employee and his customer during the meeting, and claimed my employee was soliciting and asked both he and his customer to leave... In no way shape or form was he soliciting to customers during this meeting... Starbucks, you're better than this. Don't hire managers who think they're Magnum P.I.Egg Bites : A+Coffee : A+Your Manager : F (wish I could go lower)
When is it considered “solicitation” when you’re with a client conducting business AFTER purchasing coffee. Store manager asked a paying customer to leave in the middle of working with his client. That’s very rude and very unprofessional. I will definitely be escalating this to corporate. Not what I would’ve imagined from Starbucks.
Store manager was visibly rude to a paying customer meeting his client. Wasn’t loud or disrespectful but the store manager forced him to leave. Not inclusive at all.
