I really enjoyed the pizza crust here!! I don’t know what it is, but it’s kind of crispy/crunchy/flaky and it’s SO GOOD.. I’ve never had a crust like it before! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

Part 1) Big Jim would be embarrassed! Karvelas, a family owned establishment, says they pride themselves on superior food and excellent service. I asked for unsweet ice tea and sweetener (any kind) and they said they don't have sweetners. So then we ordered a pizza with half cheese, since my girlfriend has a cheese allergy, and they said they don't do substitutes or half orders. Part 2) At this point I paid for the drinks and walked down the block to Fabiano's Pizza, where they had sweetners, half orders, substitutions, excellent service and tasty food. Oh yeah, and they have real silverware vs Karvelas' plastic!
