Olde Village Free House - Newmarket

We were for lunch after a wine tour in the Holland Marsh. Hubby and I shared a flat bread and it seemed not cooked enough. Bottom was super soggy. Our friends had the cattle deduction and were not overly impressed. The bathroom was pretty dirty, but the service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Wouldn't go back.

Went here for our one year anniversary and had a blast, service was amazing, vibe was amazing, everything we needed for a cute date night and amazing drinks/appetizers thank you for your hospitality

Easily the best place in town. The food is incredible, and the staff friendly and efficient. Best karaoke show in town every Sunday night.

I go there often. The $8 breakfast is my go-to for lunch, 3 eggs, 2 choices of meat (can't get that anywhere), toast and home fries. Amazing. Today I wasn't very hungry and had the pizza rolls appetizer, WOW. Dangerously good. Service is always personable and prompt, just a great Newmarket spot all around.

Booze and schmooze? Maybe more! It happened recently that our party of six were late for dinner on a Tuesday night by almost 9 pm. As almost everywhere else is closed nearby in Aurora and Newmarket, we decided to try it out at the Olde Village. It turned out that all the dishes we ordered were really good! The onion soup is A+ while the calamari also appeals to the sea food lovers. And, my Village Club not just had all the right ingredients but it's all nicely executed. They also threw onion rings for free. I should also mention that the service is great despite the fact that the lone waitress and the bartender had to deal with so many customers. Last but not least, Tuesday is their burger night meaning that you get a free side!
