Amazing service, and great food! We were served promptly and with great recommendations. Got the most amazing pint of Guinness to start.The fish and chips (and onion rings) were SO crispy and delicious!! Better than what we ate in London just a year ago. Gigantic portions, and delicious sauces.Also had deep fried pickles and deep fried mars bar, which were amazing. We are also big fans of their ice cream.Can't wait to return!

We came to try this place because of the good ratings we saw on Google but the food did not reflect the 4.5 stars it deserves. The batter was light and crispy but the fish was a bit under cooked. The calamari was over cooked and burnt and didn't taste good. The good thing was the portion sizes are very generous. Will not return again.

What a hidden gem this place is, everything we had was delicious. Big portions and so freshFirst time at Chip Malt and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The food is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.We ordered the Orange Roughy and Chips , Chicken Sandwich , The Brighton Salad and the Haddock and Chips and the Mushy PeasThis cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, not a bad beer list and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.
