Karachi Tandoori - Newham

I ordered by just eat in the other night and came over karachi tandoori I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food. I ordered the tikka masala, saag gosht, lamb karahi and chana masala (with naan). the tika masala was the best...I've ever had it even though I never ordered it (for my partner) and the saag gosht was brilliant. the other two dishes were not so good, but still very, very nice dishes. the food came a little late and the gentleman on the phone did not listen to me as apologetic when I asked where it was eating, but that was quickly forgotten when eating was so damn good. they also offer small, medium and large sizes (for the takeaway) and all portions are good sizes. I will definitely order from them again and maybe even dip into the restaurant to have a meal. great eating, could work on customer service.

We've eaten a few weeks ago. that must be one of the least pretentious Indian restaurants I have ever visited. unfortunately there is no drink license. However, eating is excellent, and the portions are a good size. we're going back. there is again.

At last an immaculately clean curry house locally that has a real cook! The food is excellent and I defy anybody to find better within a few miles, especially for the price. I have had a cepali kebab, minced lamb and seasonings, shish kebab, Chicken...madras, garlic nan (made fresh to order) and pakora's (onion and potatoe bhaji). The meats were clean and fresh tasting, with that unmistakable charcoal flavour. The curry was excellent, very tender and NOT overcooked chicken. Obviously freshly ground spices and authentic flavours. The staff were very friendly and professional as this has been a family business for years at this location alone. They do take away and have now taken the place of my regular source, after years! Us cockneys know our curry! I really do wish them great success in their newly fitted out premises.

I love Indian food and it was great. I thought it was something on the expensive side, but it was worth it. they also delivered the food minutes after ordering as they said. everything was delicious. If I'm ever back in this part of the world, I'd eat there again.
