Patricia Hotel - Newell County

A group of 13 of us stayed to stand for lunch and the two servers that were inclined to us were great. I guess on the servers was also the owner, as she was a hoot, talking and hearing. the pub is also equipped...with all types of flat memorabilia, which makes a walk around the pub part of the experience. eating was very good and the kitchen was great to deal with special orders.

We were through and heard of this place from a local parking staff. we wanted to try the buffalo burgers and we were not disappointed those were fantastic! the staff there was very friendly and offers exceptional service. I strongly recommend buying here. for a bite to eat with a drink.

I look forward ever time when I get to have dinner at the Patricia Hotel. This place is a piece of history, from the western doors when you enter, to the awesome decor, and the steak pit. Highly recommend for date night or large groups.

The Patricia Hotel is located off the main highway in the area in the centre of the little town of Patricia. The restaurant has two sides to it one where the locals come to chat about their day, and the other with the famous...BBQ pit where you can cook your own steak over a grill in the back of the saloon. Not being overly proficient with a grill, I chose to order off the lunch menu. The fellow who served us was friendly and brought our orders out still steaming from the grill. The hot sandwich was good, but the fried mushrooms were excellent. Prices for our late lunch were also very good. The interior of the bar was rustic and had an area for a dance floor and band, hockey memorabelia as well as tables throughout. I would stop here again anytime for lunch or dinner if in the area or exploring the nearby provincial park. Good food, great prices, friendly people...it was a great experience.

Small town. very old hotel. cook their own steak or burger and enjoy the local atmosphere. a look into pastness, so appreciate for what it is, not what it is.
