Fabulous meal served by Fabulous staff. Attentive and professional as always. Hoping to book for Christmas Day 2022.

5 of us had a really delicious meal with super service this evening. It was a shame to see how quiet the restaurant was. £15 per person set menu was such a feast. I would definitely go back next time I’m in Newcastle.

It had been a few years since my wife and i visited the palace, we had gone each new years eve for several years. The white table cloths had been replaced by red , the chairs all have red covers, probably to disguise the poor state and cleanliness of the chairs. The food was average, we ordered the banquet at £25.00 per head. The hot and sour soup was so so, bit powdery, the duck was dry probably left over from the lunch menu... BTW Lidl crispy duck at £4.00 was far superior. as for the main course the beef was tough in the curry sizzling beef was ok we asked for sweet... banana fritta our favourite, told we should have brought our own Banana ..!!!! The crockery was chipped and not matching, if they are not bothered about the dishes the food are served on , how bothered are they about the Food!! Overall Not a good experience, seedy Mediocre very disappointing C Davey

It’s been many years since we were last here and y’know what, little has changed. You no longer go over the bridge to get in but the bridge is still there, now paving the way to the ladies.

I have been a fan of dim sum for a long time, so whenever I visit a new city, I always head to Chinatown if there is one. The dim sum at Palace Garden is some of the best I have ever had, comparable to anywhere in the world. The restaurant is clean, well-organized, and the service is excellent. I have returned multiple times now, and each visit has been consistently exceptional in terms of both food quality and service.
