We gave this take away a second chance but have to say its really gone back, order a chicken madras and a chicken dhansak, the sauce was exactly the same, the taste of the madras was all wrong and very watery. The dhansak was no better, the rice had a funny smell it just was not up to scratch at all. Very disappointing as not cheap. Its not a restaurant only a take away.

Ordered on line pre order, told would be 5.45, then 5.50, arrived 6.10. (Not a huge problem). My chicken tikka and rice was ok, but the side order of vegetable curry was dreadful, more like spiced gravy with bits of veg . You now only get 1 pompadom instead of 2, but the chipati was ok No where near as good as it used to be, so will be finding somewhere else to order a Saturday treat. This used to be the best Indian Takeaway in the area

It is evident that despite the current cost of living crisis, this restaurant has not increased their prices. However, it is now clear why - they have reduced the portion sizes of the main dishes, which are now predominantly sauce. For example, the king prawn balti now only contains 4 prawns instead of the usual 10, and the vindaloo has minimal vegetables, with only one small sliced potato instead of the usual generous serving.

There are very few places that offer a variety of fish dishes beyond just salmon and prawns, which can be quite boring. As someone who enjoys a mix of meat, vegetables, and seafood, I have found it difficult to find good fish options in town, aside from Uri's. In my search for information on the Sunderbans, I stumbled upon a restaurant that couldn't help me with my query but surprised me with their delicious fish dishes. I tried their mustard fish and Bengal fish, and I can't wait to go back for more. The prices were also surprisingly affordable. Just a tip, it's a take-out restaurant.

Absolutely thrilled to finally find a decent Indian takeaway. Been looking for over a year since moving into the area. Delicious food, lovely staff and excellent prices. Highly recommended
