Mannaza Korean - Newcastle upon Tyne

First time visiting. Warm welcome from staff. Food very tasty. All the right flavours I remember from my travels through Asia. High recommend. Will deffo be back.

Enjoyed the sharing platter (Meat A and Seafood A) with my wife. Marinades are lovely but in hindsight we should have asked for a side plate or ordered some lettuce to wrap the meat. Great food, good quality and enjoyable surroundings.

Meat platter had meet that wasn't fresh. Smelled and tasted as defrosted meat. Plenty of water came out of it while we were cooking it. Photo attached. Tasted old. Small portion. Salads were seasoned with some poor quality vinegar or dressing. Didn't enjoy any of it. We ordered Aloa Vera and Greipfruit Juices. For some reason I imagined it to be fresh. Juices came in a plastic bottle and a can, preserved and full of sugar. Tables were sticky. Restaurant needs cleaning inside and outside. Smoke extractor didn't work. Place is full of smoke. Staff is very pleasent and fast.

I’ve lost count the amount of times I have been here. It is my #1 restaurant in Newcastle and in March I took my friends for my birthday. They hadn’t tried Korean food before and they all thoroughly enjoyed it. My go to order is the samgyeopsal bbq and kimchi jiggae. Staff are always super friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. I was introduced to this restaurant by a Korean friend who told me it’s the best Japchae they’ve ever had. Will continue to return.

Been here a few times and always enjoyed it. Today was no exception, we ordered so much food for ourselves, we decided to get lots of side dish. The food was all magnificent! Really loves the japchae noodles and the fried chicken wings, in fact all the food was brilliant! Greet experience and lots of fun.
