Falafel Al Hana - Newcastle upon Tyne

We ordered from this restaurant and I have never had something so dry and flavorless. The shawarma chicken was basically just shredded chicken, and we were given a tiny amount of garlic which wasn't enough to improve the moisture of the food. I am disappointed and would not recommend this place.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant. The food arrived promptly and looked appealing until I found green mold on all three pieces of bread. It was disappointing that I couldn't leave or read reviews on the site where I ordered from. Wonder why!

The lunch was very enjoyable, with delicious food that is also halal. There are plenty of vegetarian options available at a cheap price. The falafel is the best in Newcastle.

Friendly staff. Reasonable menu and prices. I ordered a halloumi wrap and beruitty hummus. Both were pretty bland, won’t be rushing back. Will struggle to compete with other excellent Grainger Market offerings.

I want to sit down with the owner and say: Mate. You're really letting the team down.... I mean, this is falafel. It is HARD to get it wrong. It was dry, lifeless and very average. PLEASE DO BETTER. Veg, tahini, some garlic sauce and some fresh veg. Not a wrap but a pocket!! STOP embarrassing us. Also... very slow service.
