Lims - NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME

The sweet and sour was neither, there was no taste at all. The rice was dry and the chow mein was greasy. Yes i know they are slightly different from each takeaway but I've never had one I've not enjoyed. This went in the bin as i couldn't eat it. Total waste of money.

The staff that answered the phone to take the order was nothing short of rude ! I asked to pay by debit card and her reply was I’ll do it this one last time but never again as we’re busy and I’m needed in the kitchen !

Not sure why Lims does not have good reviews, was recommended by a friend, excellent food service, give them a try, you will not be disappointed, i will definitely be using them again.

Called tonight as I was close by for a Takeaway, and now I now why I stopped going!! My meal was Singapore fried rice which supposed to be spicy, this was bland and not spicy at all. Curry sauce was orange and like water, did not taste like curry sauce at all. Chips were not cooked both pale and hard. Threw it away and 15 minutes later on the toilet!!!!! The wife had Crispy chilli beef which came with the beef dry sitting on top of the sauce, and again was bland and tasted like yesterdays!! Never going again. Used to be so good but now the worst around.

Ordered meal to be delivered, New Years Eve, 1 hour 30 minutes to arrived, which we knew about as they were busy and as lims always so good in past we were willing to wait. Meal arrived cold, prawn toasts full of grease not edible. No taste in the food, gelatinous texture to sweet and sour. All in bin. What has happened to Lims, it used to be so good, now rubbish,
