Loretta - Newburyport

Celebrated our 44th Wedding Anniversary at Loretta’s in Newburyport last night. Was seated at a cozy table for two. Our waitress Lorraine was a delight. She was efficient, knowledgeable about the various dishes and there with any extra request for us. The food was just delicious!! We had the crabcake appetizer which were so moist and all crab. I got the chicken dish and my husband got the filet mignon. All cooked to perfection. Nice atmosphere. Clean. Fresh flowers at each table. A perfect date night for us. We even had the crème brûlée and I got the flan .Simply amazing.

Had brunch with my wife. Food was delicious. Fresh ingredients. Nice atmosphere with live music (2 person band). Friendly wait staff but it did take a bit to get our order in and get our order but it was worth the wait (not that we were in a hurry). Only other nit being drafty when the front doors opened and closed. We will definitely go back and maybe try out their dinner offerings.

Absolutely delicious , We all had the special swordfish with mashed potatoes and asparagus! With a lemon caper sauce fantastic, espresso martinis so creamy and delicious, waitress was absolutely wonderful!

Had lunch 4.20.24. The steak sandwich au jus was good- (maybe could use a little garlic or spice of some sort, but well made) My date had the thai chicken salad, which she loved. Fries were VERY good. Server was great... attentive, but not hovering. Noise level during busy time was up there, but good as were were talking about serious stuff....Would we go back! : You bet! Parking: Parking must be tough when in high season. Right now, cake. The city lots are $1/hour, which is fantastic. The kiosks are easy to use. There was 2 hour free parking on the streets here and there, but we needed long term, so the garage was the answer. GREAT town!
