Tony Benny's Pizza Parlor - Newark

The pepperoni and cheese Stromboli was excellent. Pizza slices looked pretty damn good too!

We stopped by for a quick meal before our flight and were pleasantly surprised by how fresh and delicious the food was. Our kids loved the cheese pizza, while we tried the veggie pizza, which was light and flavorful. We also ordered a salad as a side, and it was quite good. The fresh lemonade really enhanced our dining experience. Additionally, the service was outstanding, with the staff being very courteous. As for kid-friendliness, they offer great options like cheese pizza, mac and cheese, and pasta, making it a perfect place for families.

On a positive note, the service was pleasant. The staff at the counter were respectful and attentive, which is always appreciated. We also managed to find seating right away due to the ample space available. Overall, I can’t really recommend this place unless you’re starving and only want pizza. Even then, I’d hesitate. For airport food this is better than anything in here. Great pizza, great breakfast!

Do people ever make healthy decisions while waiting for their flights? The airport is a lawless place of day drinking, diet breaking, junk food consumption. All common sense about nutrition goes out the window, that's how we ended up at Tony Benny's Pizza Parlor. I had the smallest, saddest looking slice of Classic Cheese Pizza a couple bites of dry, hard Chicken Spinach Stromboli. Quality is seriously lacking, here. Similar to what you'd find at a mall's food court where everything's been sitting out, waiting to be warmed up when a customer orders.The upside is they have quite a variety of items; the downside it probably won't taste very good, unless you catch a batch of something coming out of the oven, it won't be fresh either. Nice guys working here, but as with most airport food, pass on Tony Benny's Pizza Parlor.
