Came on a Friday at 5pm just as they opened knowing it would get busy. You have to order using a QR code through your phone. Once that's done meal came out quick and hot. Perfect for a cold November evening. Finding a parking spot might be tricky with so many other establishment in the same mall.
I think one time is enough. I'd rather have traditional hot pot style. Mostly vegetables, fish cake, and noodles/rice. Beef/crab is meh quality. Looks amazing though.
I've been here so many times now, and although the pots are filled to the brim with fixings, the flavor of the broth continues to diminish. Taiwanese hot pot is my favorite and I love the spicy levels. But as the spice goes up, the flavor also goes down. So I tried no spice, and still, very little flavor. The curry is probably the most underwhelming dish, but the miso is far better and probably my go-to here. It's all good, but in my opinion, not great. There are so many great hot pot places in the Bay Area. Add to this the inflated prices and the only saving grace is the pot overflowing with veggies and seafood, and the convenience of location.
Portion of Taiwanese supreme spicy hot pot (no.9) is big! very authentic
