Smiley's Diner - Newark

I stumbled upon this restaurant while traveling and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was open 24 hours. The food is amazing as it is made with real, unprocessed ingredients. It truly tastes like high-quality, homemade food. I highly recommend this place to everyone. ShawnFood: 5/5

The food portions were generous and the flavors were fantastic! My husband ordered the flounder wrap, which was incredibly large. We ended up taking some of our food home with us. Our server, Asimov, was very attentive and extremely polite. There was nothing negative to say about this restaurant. We highly recommend it and will definitely return when we are in the area, even if we are not nearby. It is definitely worth the hour drive.

This restaurant was exactly what I imagined a diner in the North would be like. The atmosphere was difficult to put into words, but it had a cool vibe. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the customers were lively. I particularly enjoyed the adorable bar area, which seemed perfect for regulars who knew everyone. The desserts were also tasty, especially the lemon cake our waitress recommended. It was a fantastic way to kick off our trip in Delaware.

Seemed liked a nice dinner and hours are convenient 24/7. No idea what the food is like, must be good they had a large party and lots of Togo orders. I waited half an hour to get served and finally left, I have two stars for service because the guy who seated me said sorry as I left, it interrupted his conversation at the bar with another employee so that was at least some form of acknowledgement. I'll take my business elsewhere seems they have enough they can literally watch customers walk out the door.

Nice salad and bread came with it, soo much food for a good price. It taste delicious.I already started eating a good portion of the eggplant Parmesan, so some of it’s missing in the photo.
