Dr. Chicken Shack - Newark

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is amazing, and they offer both fried and grilled chicken, which is hard to find outside of Kentucky Fried Chicken. The lunch specials are generously portioned and worth every penny!

The food at this restaurant is good. I used to miss their pizza, but their burger is much better now than before when it was too salty. My family prefers coming here for dinner, like we used to go to Popeyes. I also miss their breakfast, which was really good back in 2005/2006. The food is still great now, but the parking can be a bit of a hassle when picking up food. However, this restaurant is a must-visit compared to other places nearby. Owners, if you're reading this, please bring back regular fries. The curly fries are too greasy, have fewer potatoes, and the kids don't like the shape.

Not my favorite place for chicken but it definitely has a unique taste to it. Most of the other chicken places in Newark are very generic, like they all buy from the same supplier or something but the chicken here is different in a good way. It actually smells like fried chicken and not like fried mystery meat.

The best chicken sandwich! last night ordered for the first time. I have two of them picking. they also go 2 of the 2 pieces huhn meal. I've cracked around a green one, but got pommes. they were great! fed curly frries will be reordered from here.
