Biryani City - Newark

We stopped in at Biryani City during a road trip home, and boy, are we glad we found this place. The place is really plain-looking, but man, did the food deliver. Biryani City lives up to its namesake, as their biryani was incredibly good. The spicy options have a decent amount of kick to them, and everything meshes so well. Don't let looks deceive you; if you're looking for an incredible biryani, this is the place to try.

Blown away by the Chicken Biryani flavour. You don't miss Indian Hyderabadi food if you're at Biryani city. Goat biryani was next level . Also don't miss the mutton pulaav. The staff and management were really humble. Dining experience was awesome. Easily my Favourite restaurant in Delaware. Just try this delicious recipes and thank me later.?????????

I'm giving 5 stars for the service, our server was very helpful (knowledgeable of the menu and food, super nice). The spice levels were not comparable, so be cautious as for less spice! Food was delicious very flavorful, we had the goat biryani (we have goat every time we have biryani so like every place we can get biryani), chicken 65, and chicken 555, we had another dish as well. The dessert was delicious (double sweet bread pudding). The food was good, delicious but the service is what won us over! We will be back!

Amazing food, authentic Indian flavors.Excellent chicken biryani I have ever tasted in Delaware !! Biryani lovers should truly visit this place. The food quality is fresh and prices are reasonable.

One only eaten here once, but I've found that their dishes are very bland which is kind of impressive considering it's Indian cuisine. I got the chicken chicken biryani and the rice was almost white, had no flavor and just really left you wanting something else. The samosas were also pretty flavorless and tasted heavily of peas but with no other seasoning. Wouldn't recommend, there are far better places in the area. Also, when I walked in the guy was on his phone, didn't say two words for me, even when I thanked him for handing me to go order. Felt very awkward.
