Au Bon Pain - Newark

I used to eat here years ago in Midtown New York. The sandwiches and cookies were fresh and delicious. While bringing my mom to Christiana hospital in DE for an appointment I saw that they had au bon pain in there. I purchased the bacon chicken avocado sandwich. I got raw bacon 4 little pieces of chicken and a bunch of avocado for 8 dollars. This place is nothing like it used to be years ago. I won’t be purchasing anything from here in the future. ??

On my recent visit to the hospital I found this place clean and vibrant with very nice baked items, along with tasty sandwiches, soups and salads. Even though it's not well staffed the employees and the managers work hard to accommodate well and the speed of service is very reasonable. I enjoyed my visit here and I will be back with my family.

Manager was very rude to me. He was so horrible I couldn’t believe it! I will never go back there. They even made my tab more than what it was

My husband is a patient in Christiana Hospital. I have ordered lunch in Au Bon Pan 3 days in row. Excellent menu selections, everything I ordered was delicious. Chicken Noodle Soup hot and very tasty. Sandwiches, chicken salad sandwich and country grilled cheese with bacon were excellent. Coffee was very good too. Other reviews were so/so about the coffee, but I always feel I need to try it myself and glad I did. Oh and the oatmeal raisin cookie very yummy. I would also like to add the people who work there are very very nice! Very helpful and friendly, very patient, very kind. My experiences in Au Bon Pan have been very good!
