The best place for lunch near the Rutgers-Newark campus on weekdays! The restaurant has a great cause and serves delicious three-course meals for only $12. The three courses are appetizer (choice between salad and soup), main (two different protein options and one vegetarian option), and dessert (choice between a bakery item and fruit). I have been to the restaurant several times since opening a few years ago, and the food has been excellent every time that I have been there. The only minor drawback is that the location is only open for weekday lunch between 11:30 am and 2 pm.

The Newark location was temporary closed due to the pandemic it is Their intention to reopen this location shortly in the meantime you can visit their toms River and Red Bank locations. Please check The web for the most up-to-date information if they’re open you should go
