Beaumond Cross Inn - Newark

The food was exceptional a great find Pleasant country location and friendly staff.

It was a Monday, we were only ones in and we’re in strange times with but no excuse for the overpriced piece of steak we had.

Great pies and a very good variety of them including vegan and veggie

Very unusual place , found it strange we had to order in advance , but maybe so the food was available as it wasn’t very busy , they tried their best to serve us well which was nice , but I found the food was London prices way to expensive , maybe that’s why it wasn’t busy ? Very dated interior could maybe do with a revamp ? So was ok for a stopover , but may have been more appealing with a smaller menu offered and a more reasonable course rate possibly ?

Friendly staff, excellent location, very clean room, beautiful outside patio area, will definitely be going back. Breakfast was delicious.
