First time to dine here. Great atmosphere, clean, well decorated. The employees were friendly and attentive. Parking was close. I ordered two different tacos. The ancho lime chicken taco may be the best taco I’ve ever eaten. My wife got the nachos and she complemented the in house made chips. You won’t be disappointed!Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available and plenty of room between tables without feeling crowded.
I’ve been to taco nation many times and have always enjoyed the food and environment, but during my most recent visit the owner acted aggressively toward our group and requested several times to “take it outside”. The most unprofessional and unpleasant experience I’ve ever had at a okc restaurant.
Food is delicious. So called owner wearing a taco nation t-shirt had issues with our party, but when we offered to leave, he relented but continued to argue. Seemed more interested in fighting with customers than anything else. Hopefully the rest of the silent partners focus on the silent aspect and let the rock star service staff do their thing.
A party of ~15 people met at a nearby brewery. Not a child in sight at said location. Some of the party moved to taco nation for food. Approached by a man saying he was the owner. We apparently offended him and his children, who were also at the brewery, under 21 years of age by our presence and tone. Our party attempted to diffuse the situation, apologizing for potentially offending the owner and his wife, and we 're still able to order another round of drinks. After we were tabbed out and were already about to leave the establishment, the owner again approached and repeatedly asked us if we wanted to take it outside. When asked which children we offended, the owner answered that they were working in the restaurant. We didn 't see them so they just have been hidden behind the fryers. Regardless, we said we didn 't want to take the argument outside and since we had already tabbed we said we would leave. This place would get five stars if you love prison-style dining and child-slave labor!!
