Torishin - New York City

This yakitori restaurant truly transports you to the heart of Tokyo! The food and service are exceptional. I highly recommend the omakase special featuring A5 wagyu and Spanish pork. Don’t forget to try a carafe of Zaku the Artisan sake as well!

The chef is very friendly, and the server is extremely professional. However, the food is just above average.

The seating arrangement is a bit confusing, as each section features different menu options. The omakase is excellent and well worth it; however, the additional $30 for a small extra meat option doesn't seem justified. The food quality is impressive and surpasses other yakitori spots in NYC. The selection of spirits is good, but keep in mind that the lower-priced options come in smaller quantities. The clientele is predominantly male.

Lovely thanksgiving dinner time, We enjoyed Torishin very much, so much fun and every serving was excellent. Our waitress uniko was very lovely in her manner and service. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. See you again soon.
