Taco Mix - New York City

Taco Mix is a restaurant I didn't realize I was missing! My partner took me there since we both tend to crave food late at night. We ordered nachos topped with Al pastor meat, and the chips had an amazing crunch. The entire plate was generously layered with all the delicious toppings you expect on a nacho platter! Their salsa Verde packs a serious heat—I was a bit too intimidated to try the salsa roja or add some jalapeños on the side, but at least those options were available! I would definitely give this place a perfect 10/10 and can't wait to return!

Delicious! The Birria Burrito was incredible, with fresh meat. There’s pleasant outdoor seating, which was a nice touch. They offered a wide variety of sauces that we thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely worth the visit!

On the other hand, the Al pastor tacos were pretty average. The grilled pineapple was thinly sliced, and the meat was a bit too wet for my taste, so I wouldn't order those again. Overall, the Birria tacos were delicious but not necessarily worth going out of your way for. The sodas we ordered were somewhat flat, even though they came straight from the fridge, and the outdoor seating felt a bit questionable.

****!!!! I ordered on Grubhub and my only issue is that I didn?t order MORE food. The food is absolutely delicious. Very tasty and fresh. They actually followed my instructions (no onions) and highlighted my special instructions to make sure it wasfollowed. The food is absolutely top notch. And them following instructions won my heart. I will order from them EVERY time Iwant Mexican food. Thank you Taco Mix. Couldn?t get a pic of the taco because I ate it. The food was so good and I was sopleased. I CALLED them to say thank you.

Apart from the al pastor tacos which were decent at this Harlem taco shop, other tacos were fairly underwhelming meat all a bit dry and lacking in flavor. With so many other options in NYC, I don?t think I?ll be returning.
