Behind an unassuming coffee shop facade is a wonderful speakeasy bar on 27th. Beautiful space, fantastic friendly staff/team and very unique exquisite cocktails.

A must visit! This restaurant has a cool historical vibe and great drinks. Despite a slight hiccup with another customer causing some discomfort, the overall experience was smooth sailing. I highly recommend stopping by for a unique experience.

So place is in the back room of a coffee shop. When walking buy coffee shop is closed and lights are off. Came in afternoon only had to wait about 5 mins to get seated. We ordered couple different drinks and they all were okay. Reason I give it a low rating because I feel like they are attempting to Scam customers. They automatically take 22 percent tip from your bill regardless of what kind of service you receive. But when the server brings the iPad to pay they have it pre set to to add an additional 22 percent tip on top of that. If you just quickly sign and don’t look at it you just have them 22 percent of the original bill and then when paying another 22 on top of that which is insane. Most places I’ve been usually you pick which tip you want but this place automatically has it on 22 percent and the server doesn’t tell you that the bill already included 22 percent tip. Please be aware of this!!!!

It may seem like just a regular coffee shop that closes at 10pm, but don't be fooled. The coffee shop is actually a front for a speakeasy in the back where we were served some amazingly intricate cocktails. I was so impressed by the complexity of the drinks that I completely forgot their names.
