Molly's Cupcakes - New York City

I visited about a week ago and chose the “classic” cupcake from their extensive menu, which features a mix of traditional flavors and more unique options. I tried the Chocolate Classic Cupcake with vanilla frosting and sprinkles (Molly-sized, or “regular”). This cupcake is fantastic. The cake strikes a perfect balance between density and moist lightness, reminiscent of those nostalgic school bake sale cupcakes, without any dryness. The chocolate flavor is rich and authentic, avoiding an overpowering sweetness from sugar or other sweeteners. The vanilla frosting adds a pleasant contrast, delivering just the right amount of sweetness without being cloying. The size is comparable to a Hostess cupcake—not too small and not excessively large—making it just right for an individual without being a calorie overload. The price for the Chocolate Classic Cupcake is $2.85, plus tip. The staff is incredibly friendly and provides excellent service. Overall, Molly’s Cupcakes is definitely worth a visit!

Delicious cupcakes and a fantastic experience! We hired Molly’s to make flower-themed cupcakes for my children's birthday party. They were responsive, easy to work with, and delivered exactly what the kids wanted. Parents even asked where we got the cupcakes because they were so tasty. We will definitely be returning!

Delicious cupcakes! The cake was fantastic, and the frosting was wonderfully whipped and light. I really appreciated the location and the friendly, attentive staff. The prices were quite reasonable as well.

Best cupcake I’ve ever had. I had the salted caramel butterscotch cupcake. I came back the next day to get a second one. It was the perfect combination of sweet and salty. Their store is designed like a playground and they have the bar designed with swings as chairs. Super cute for kids.

LOVE Molly’s cupcakes, always a stop when I bring friends into the city. A super cute cupcakery, clean bathrooms and tables, helpful and kind staff…and close to some other super cool locations! So many great flavors and you can build your own cupcake. I quite like the cookie dough cupcake.
