Mamo - New York City

We had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. My husband and I went there during NYC Restaurant Week to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We arrived half an hour early for our reservation and were seated immediately. To our delight, they offered us two glasses of prosecco to toast our special evening, which I had mentioned when making the reservation. The service was outstanding—our server, Andres, was attentive, friendly, and ensured that everything was perfect for us. The food was incredible. It was my first time trying lamb chops, and according to my husband, who tasted my dish, I’m now spoiled because I might never have them that good again. Overall, it was a truly wonderful dining experience! Thank you for making our night so memorable!

The moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warmth and friendliness from the staff. It was a top-notch experience from start to finish—delicious food, excellent cocktails, and attentive service!

Everyone had clearly picked up on the fact that it was our anniversary and we were given that slightly more special treatment as a result. Food was excellent and thankfully we declined dessert as we were later given a celebration cake to share at the end of the meal. Not a cheap night out but definitely a god place to chose for a more special occasion.

Sadly Summer 2018, Mamo Restaurant, a Soho restaurant celebrating the flavors of Italy, had to close its doors after a fire. They made a comeback just in time for the 2018 holiday season. I was invited back to again sample their fare that I so enjoyed on my original visit.

Located in Soho, Mamo NYC is the outpost of Mamo Le Michelangelo, a restaurant in Antibes, a city in the French Riviera.
