Cuchifritos - New York City

My order was delivered without juice but I was still charged on my card, including all necessary fees and taxes. However, during a redelivery attempt, the merchant tried to charge me an unjustified small order fee, an unjustified service fee, and the same tax charge that was already on my previous receipt and charged on my card.

The food at this restaurant was not good. The chicken was okay, but the rice and beans were flavorless, overcooked, and mushy. The pastries were mediocre, and the cod fish fritter was inedible. The only highlight was the delicious pineapple juice.

I am not sure what kind of soup that was, but it was definitely not sancocho. The pasteles were watery and the papa rellena was very small. Lately, this place has been messy and disorganized.

The soup is plain with no taste and the rice was big for no reason, I asked for a small also I buy all this food and no garlic salt pepper no ketchup .. Iam noy enjoying my food after spending all this money very disappointed

This restaurant has been a favorite in the neighborhood since I was a child. People travel from near and far just for the delicious cuchifritos. The atmosphere may not be charming, but the food more than makes up for it.
