Very understaffed location. This place could hire some more people make it diverse a little. And also have better customers

Good spot for decent food at a reasonable price. Fries are seasoned well and better than McDonalds fries. Burgers are tender, tasty, and juicy. I love the strawberry/vanilla soft serve ice cream. Definitely get the cup version and not the cone version for better value. Since the location is near the projects, the staff there have to deal with a lot of extremely difficult and verbally abusive customers. Surprisingly there has been little staff turnover over the years. They seem loyal and hard working. Considering the price point, I don't have unrealistic expectations of phenomenal service. They are all friendly and professional.

First time trying checkers. Tastes like your average fast-food establishment. Indoors was decent, a little bit dirty on some of the tables. The guy who was taking my order was pretty chill and wasn't too bad. I got the Big Buford medium combo. Came out to be a little over $11 which is a little on the pricier end for what it's worth. Definitely, there are cheaper and various options on the menu that you could go for. The meal was filling and it was okay.

I swear dining in at checkers never disappoints. I have a new addiction which is a Parmesan loaded fries ??? I really can't get enough.

Food was trash here. The chicken tenders were still semi frozen and i tasted the coldness in every bite. Female worker in the front better lose her attitude. Got food poisoning from the food.
